Mansfield facilitates a bereavement support group, Standing in Our New Lives: For Women Who Have Lost Partners or Spouses, and writes for the Hospicare newsletter and website. For many years she was also a women’s healthcare counselor, nutritionist and exercise trainer. Since 2008, she has maintained a very popular care giver blog – Elaine Mansfield – which was recently honored by caring.com as one of the top 18 great care giver stories on the web.
