Journalist/writer

Swinnerton is a graduate of Ithaca College where she studied journalism
and politics.
She has worked for several newspapers and weeklies, including Denver’s Westword.
She was Managing Editor for three north zone Finger Lakes Community
newspapers, including The Trumansburg Free Press, The Ovid Gazette and
The Interlaken Review. Swinnerton also worked at WHCU Radio as a reporter
and anchor. From 2017 until June of this year, she was managing editor of
The Tompkins Weekly.
