Blind since birth, Rubin did not limit her ambition in any way. She is an accomplished opera singer, writer, jewlrey maker and the co-founder and artistic director of The Ohana Performing Arts School & Festival in Hawaii. She published a fascinating memoir in 2012, called Do You Dream In Color: Insights From a Girl Without Sight. We also share excerpts from her CD of the same name.
