Discussing hunger w/ President of The Food Bank of the Southern Tier
Thompson is currently the President and CEO of the Food Bank of the Southern Tier
in Elmira, New York. She has almost 19 years experience in the food bank community, where
she began her career as an Americorps Vista volunteer at the Rhode Island Community
Food Bank in 1997. She is also chair of the Food Bank Association of New York State
and a member of the Feeding America’s National Council of food banks, representing
the eastern region.
