Wakeley studied piano for 12 years. She has worked as a vocalist, recording artist, and voice-over actor for many years. Basing herself first in Atlanta, GA, then Los Angeles, CA, Wakeley performed in premier hotels and clubs throughout the United States and Europe.
When she moved to Seattle, WA, married and started a family, her music shifted from venues around the world to more intimate performances to benefit local organizations closer to home. Continuing this work in Ithaca, NY, her current home, Wakeley also expanded her community service, continues performing and recently released a new CD, Perfect Strangers a collection of contemporary and classic songs.
