Horsewoman and trainer, and founder of theraputic riding project "Flying Changes"
Rightmire is a graduate of SUNY Cortland where she studied Physical Education. She has served
special populations as an adaptive physical education teacher since the 1980’s.
Rightmire is also a longtime horsewoman and trainer. In 2010, combining her physical education
experience and her work with horses, she founded FLYING CHANGES: THERAPUTIC RIDING
AND EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY PROGRAM, located in Marathon, New York.

Jean and FLYING CHNGES work extensively with populations of all ages with physical,
mental and emotional challenges and disabilities.
