Poet and author of memoir "The Accidental Pilgrim: Finding God and His Mother in Tuscany"
Sornberger taught at Mansfield University for 25 years, and created the Women’s
Studies Program there. She is the author of many books of poetry, including a full-length
collection, Open Heart published by Calyx Books. Her chapbook Wal-Mart Orchid was winner
of the Helen Kay Chapbook prize, from Evening Street Press.
