Writer and novelist

Hower has published 8 novels and 2 collections of short stories. His novels include The New Life Hotel, A Garden of Dreams, and The Storms of May. His most recent work of fiction is a fascinating and mysterious novel called Slick. Hower’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic Monthly and American Scholar. For the last six years he has been teaching at Auburn Prison for the Cornell Prison Education Program.
