Holmes is a graduate of Davidson College and rec’d her MFA in poetry

from Cornell University. She is author of three middle-grade novels

& three collections of poetry, including ” The Patience of the Cloud Photographer”

and “The Playhouse Near Dark.”

Her most recent is “PASSING WORLDS: Tahiti in the era of Captain Cook.”
