Director, John Henrik Clarke Africana Library, Cornell University
Eric Kofi Acree is currently Director of the John Henrik Clarke Africana Library and Coordinator of Fine Arts and Music Libraries at Cornell University. He is the African/African American subject specialist for Cornell University Library and is responsible for providing reference and library instruction/consultation in the area of Africana Studies. In January 2012 he began serving on the Boards of The History Center in Tompkins County, and Cinemapolis, a non-profit movie house. He is a founding member of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Build Project in Ithaca, where one of its aims was to share the teachings of MLK with the wider Ithaca community.
