Mackin is a writer/journalist and historical fiction novelist.
Her published novels include A Lady of Good Family, The Beautiful American, The Sweet By and By,
Dreams of Empire, The Queen’s War and The Frenchwoman.

Her new novel, and what we’ll be discussing on this upcoming show is
“The Last Collection: A Novel of Elsa Schiaparelli and CoCo Chanel.”

Mackin was on the faculty of both Ithaca College and Goddard College for many years.
