Discusses his heart disease/open heart surgery and recovery

John Simon is well -known in our region at a DJ at WVBR, and as a singer/songwriter and a performer with bands such as RADIO LONDON. He has also spent many years working in school programs and on community projects such as The Hangar Theatre’s Project 4 and The Family Reading Partnerhship’s Read Along Songs project. In 2003 he was suddenly diagnosed with serious heart conditions that required immediate open heart surgery. We’ll discuss his journey.
