HIV/AIDS Clinician, author of "Voices in the Band: A Doctor, Her Patients and How the Outlook on AIDS Changed From Doomed to Hopeful"
Dr. Ball has worked as a clinician caring for patients with HIV/AIDS for over 20 years. She is Associate Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Director of the Bernbaum Unit, Center for Special Studies, an AIDS Care Center at NY Presbyterian Hospital in NYC. She is the author of a moving memoir about her many years of work with AID patients, titled Voice In The Band: A Doctor, Her Patients, and How the Outlook on AIDS Changed From Doomed to Hopeful.
