Capobianco says that creating sculpture has been her passion for over thirty years. The work grows and changes over time, yet certain themes and images recur: combining natural and human-made objects; re-cycling and re-using found objects & finding connections between seemingly un-related elements. Some of the more recent work also includes text to explore a political struggle over gay marriage.
