Educator, writer and author
Rabois is a graduate of both SUNY Binghamton and the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
He began his teaching career in the Peace Corp in 1969, where he taught English
in Sierra Leone. He has since taught at Clearwater School in Trumansburg, NY and, for over
25 years, at Lehman Alternative School in Ithaca, NY.
He has just completed a book about his teaching ideas and philosophy called
“Mindful Questioning: Teaching Critical Thinking with Mindfulness, Empathy and
Emotional Literacy.
