In October 2010 we interviewed the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Finkel about his stunning book The Good Soldiers in which he spent 15 months with a team of US soldiers in Afghanistan during what the Bush administration called the “surge.” It ia an amazing account of war and a wonderful interview we thought worth airing again.
