Teacher, education reformer and author

Gelberg followed an unusual career path. After excelling at the study of ILR Cornell University, she decided one day while swimming laps that what she really wanted to do was teach young children. After earning a Masters in Education from SUNY Cortland she taught in three school districts and six elementary schools in Central New York State. She is author of The “Business” of School Reforming American Schools.
