Warburton talks warmly about her work as a writer and an educator. Her poetry and essays have been published in many magazines and literary journals, including The Broome Review, Dark Sky Magazine and Bitch Magazine. In 2009, her first chapbook Note That They Cannot Live Happily was published by Split Oak Press. She also reads several poems from her collection.
