Author and Historic Bridge Preservation Activist

Van Etten is the author or King Bridge Over Troubled Waters: Preservation verses Destruction of the Historic King Iron Bowstring Bridge in Newfield, New York.
She worked tirelessly to preserve this historical 1873 bridge from 2000-2004.
Van Etten has a degree in Business from Tompkins Cortland Community College and served in the the USAF as a medic. She served on the Newfield Town Board from 2001-2005.
