Therapist and author

Author Liza Johnson, a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, has enjoyed a private psychotherapy practice for 25 years in Huntington, New York. She also leads workshops and groups and is now focusing her attention on care givers of elderly parents. Several years ago she came into her writer’s self as she gave care to her mother who was entering into the last stage of her life. Liza ended up writing a book called Take Me Home: Walking on Sacred ground in the Last Stage of Life (Finding Meaning / Sharing Wisdom Caring for the Elders).
