Poet

Michael Jennings was born in the French Quarter of New Orleans and grew up in east Texas and the deserts of southwestern Iran before graduating from the University of Pennsylvania and the Graduate Writing Program at Syracuse University. He has authored seven collections of poems, won numerous grants and awards, and had work appear in such publications as The Georgia Review, The Sewanee Review, and The Southern Review. His most recent book is Bone-Songs And Sanctuaries, New And Selected Poems.
