Babcock is a graduate of Harvard Law School and is currently a clinical professor

and faculty director of The Cornell Center on The Death Penalty Worldwide at

Cornell Law School. Her research is focused on the application of the death penalty

around the world. As a clinical professor she has worked with victims of human rights

violations in many countries, including The Western Sahara, Israel, Zambia and The

United States.
