Perlgut is a grad of NYU where she received her Master’s in Educational Theatre. She is a founder of Close to Home

Productions, a video & documentary film company that produces work about topical and socially relevant issues.

She is also the founder of the Senior Citizen Theatre Troupe at Lifelong.

Her most recent film is “Connie Cook: A Documentary. It’s is about the life of the visionary

women’s rights advocate and legislator.

Perlgut’s other films include documentaries about retirement issues and Hospice.
