In addition to teaching, Rogalski founded the Ithaca Community Aphasia Network (ICAN), a support group where adults with acquired communication disorders can express themselves and be heard. Weekly meetings run during the fall and spring semesters. She was educated at the University of Florida, where she received her MA in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2005, and her PhD in Rehabilitation Science in 2010.
