Professor and Director of Community Folk Art Center, Syracuse University
In addition to being Executive Director of Community Folk Art Center, Willetts is also an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of African American studies, at Syracuse University. Her area of study and interest is African American art (especially in the 1960’s and 70’s), artistic colonialism, and women artists. Willetts is also a columnist for the Post-Standard newspaper of Syracuse.
Community Folk Art Center is a unit of the African American Studies Department at Syracuse University. CFAC is a beacon of artistry, creativity, and cultural expression engaging the Syracuse community, the region, and the world.
