Poet and Novelist

Harris is the author of many chapbooks of poems and short stories, including Excavating Now, Unearthing Eternity and Low Country Stories, which won a Bright Hill Fiction Award and eventually morphed into her recently published coming of age novel, The Gechee Girls. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in many magazines and literary journals, including Nimrod, Feminism 3 and The Coe Review.
