Lurie is the author of 11 novels, including The War Between the Tates and Foreign Affairs

for which she was awarded the 1985 Pulitzer Prize. He new book is called Reading For Fun,

a collection of essays and commentary about some of the most original American and British

writers of the last 100 years, many of whom Lurie has met.
